Chongqing Information Engineering College (IEC) was established by the investment of Chongqing Tian Chang Industrial Limited Liability Company. It mainly aims cultivating the talents in electronics, machinery, information technology and modern management, with 25,000 students in enrollment. The college campus covers totally 1,336 Chinese mu, with built-up area of nearly 400,000m2. It has formed the pattern of one college with three branch campuses, namely main campus in Yongchuan, Sha Pung Ba, Chongqing branch campus and Huangwen branch campus. The college has been well equipped for teaching and living, including the advanced multimedia classrooms, the academic exchange center, the scientific and technology building, the digital-control mechanical and electrical center, the electronic and computer training center, the industrial and commercial training center, the library, the football field, the villa-like apartment for students, and so on.
